Renovation
The project comprised the renovation of 105 apartments and the establishment of 10 houses in the bottom storeys, in total 11,089 m2.
As part of the master plan for Gellerup, the B7 block of flats was renovated with new installations, new bathrooms, new façade windows and a new ventilation system. In addition, at the very distinctive south gable-end close to the City Vest shopping centre, new accessible apartments with new windows and bay windows were built. This gable-end became the new landmark for Gellerup seen from Silkeborgvej.
Finally, new bright entrances and new town houses were built – their execution inspired by the earlier project “B4 Den Gyldne Port” (B4 The Golden Gate apartment block).
